We have been having this issue with Jake lately, where he slams his hands on the

windows and mirrors in our house if he gets mad or doesn't get his way. He aid

suggested alarms of some type but we couldn't find any. Finally, at Walmart

yesterday I found little Brinks alarms, like window alarms that are for

" vibrations " . I put one on my bathroom mirror that he loves to slap and one on

his bedroom window that he loves to hit. Hopefully the loud beeping that will

go off will help him stop doing this. Time will tell. Just wanted to share.

Will let you know how it works! LOL!

That's a good idea Holly. used to slam his bedroom window and one time

my neighbor came over to ask if everything was ok because it looked like

was trapped in his room. I was afraid he would put his hand through the window

so I had my husband put a window guard over the entire window. This way he can't

get the force to bang hard on it. I also put a mesh window guard that I found at

amazon over one of the other windows and he can't even touch the glass now. His

new thing is pushing out screens in all the windows. So we need guards on all

the windows now even downstairs so he doesn't climb out. My house is really

starting to look like Fort Knox.

My son broke a window pane. He also broke a glass on our coffee table with a

sippy.
