Guest guest
michelle, so far everything shows that he'll be a-o.k. We go back in november for a repeat echo, until then he'll be on the aspirin therapy and we are supposed to be vigilant in watching for signs of heart problems. He is doing so much better, I'm sure he'll be great. thank you for your kind words. kerri sue tandarat <mflinder@...> wrote: Glad he's back. I was thinking of you...our 22 month old daughter was sick as a dog for almost 3 weeks...first with a fever that would NOT go away (nurse called it a " fever virus " that seems to hit every summer), then a severe sinus infection, then a double ear infection plus tonsilitis, then her 2-year molars came in (still working on that one). Poor kid was miserable, but at least she was home. Glad they got it under control...from what I was reading, prognosis is very good for children caught before a major incident, and then monitored properly for about 6 months, so your son should be perfectly fine. Did they find any actual clots?
