O.T.My new baby

Puppy that is.Good Morning all!Well not that I need another animal

around here to keep up with BUT it looks like I have a new baby in

the house.I had originaly got it for my mother.Her beloved white and

cream mixed poodle-Abbey was killed by a car 2 years ago and she has

just been so depressed ever since.She was very special to my mother

because my sister(Clara) had given it to her.Clara had gotten her as

a little bitty puppy and was not able to give her the care and

attention she needed,so she gave it to my mother.Then about 6 moths

latter she got a little white Spitz-Pom she named Charmin.Again she

didn't have enough time to care for him so she gave it to my dad.

Abbey and Charmin became extra special to my mother and father when

a terrible tradgey hit us.On May 6th 1996.One week to the day after

my sister's 26th birthday.She was killed in a terrible car

accident.Our world came crashing down.She was my only sister and

althouth she was 7 years younger we had become very close.She was a

very beautiful and funloving person.They clung to the dogs for

strength to get through the horrible days ahead,so when Abbey was

gone it seemed liked Clara had died all over again.What made it worse

was that 1 year before Abbey was hit someone poisened Charmin.My

father was crushed too,but his 20 years in the Army had given him

extra strength to make it through the tough times.Also my brother had

given him a white Spitz puppy after that he named Sara.Getting back

to my new puppy.I have been looking for 2 years now for a white mixed

female poodle for mom.She needs something to take care of and

love.About 3 weeks ago I thought I had found the perfect puppy.A

friend of mine said that her neighbor's dog had just had a litter of

mixed poodles and she had 4 white girls and 2 black boys.I was so

excited I couldn't wait to tell mom.When I told her she couldn't

believe it!! Well when I go pick up the puppy I found out that thay

had made a little error.They had 4 white males ,1 white female and 1

black female.The problem with the white female was that she did'nt

look like a mixed poodle she took after her grandfather which was a

white fiest.Well to make a long story even longer.I took the black

female because she looked like a cocka-poo.WEll,mom was so excited

when I got to her house,but when dad seen that she was black and not

white(it's not like it sounds lol)he diin't lke her and made it very

hard for mom to care for it.Mean dad!!!He called me one day last week

and said to come get the pup. " Mom " just couln't keep up with her,but

when I was almost there( I was in the bed at the time with a flare-up)

he called me on my cell and said mom was crying so they was going to

keep it.Then he called Monday said said to come get her.Mom was very

sad but I told her I would keep it untiil she got a little bigger and

maybe dad would let her come back.SOOOOOO that is how I ended up with

her.Mom couldn't decide on a name so after much consideration I named

her Tessapoo.Tess for short.(Sorry Tess,love ya! lol)She is a very

smart and well behaved puppy,but the problem I have is that I have

other animals.ALOT of other animals.3 other dogs(2 indoor) and 2 cats

(both indoor)They don't bother her ,actually they are frightened of

the little 2 pounder.It is very funny!! Well you can defintely tell I

am over my flare-Yes!!Sorry this is so long .Just read a little at a

time -lol.Well gotta go feed the zoo!Take care-Tammy-

All I can say is AWH!!!! Puppies make the world go round!!!! Mine are grown up

in to full size puppies, they are wiener dogs! and Myra. They are my

life at times! Good luck and congrats on the new addtion!!!!!
