Do any of you subscribe to the GFDF (gluten free/dairy free) diet?

If so, have you noticed a difference?

I am wanting to, once and for all, figure out a way to make sure Ragen eats a

GFDF diet.  This will be VERY difficult to do mostly because Ragen does not

chew, never has.  She needs all her food to be able to be mashed.  This is the

main reason I have not been able to adhear to a strict diet for her.  She will

eat rice pasta, natural peanut butter and all fruit jelly sandwiches (the bread

has to be very soft and thin, which is very hard to find in a gluten free dairy

free bread, so I buy Annies light grain bread (contains gluten AND dairy :-( ).

She'll eat mashed up bananas or all-fruit purees, loves ice cream, some yogurt,

loves pancakes.  I buy the gluten-free Amy's frozen meals, the veggie lasagna,

and mac and cheese (that gets expensive)....and that's about it.  Now that she

is seeming worse with her behaviors and cognitive abilities, it's really time to

act in any way possible, so her diet needs to improve.

If your child eats a specific diet, can you share how you notice it working?

What do you feed him/her, any easy recipes that you can share, or a cookbook

that you think is good.  Any of you have children that don't chew?  I have 'met'

via FB another mom that has an 8 year old son with the dual diagnosis who also

does not chew.  Any recipes that are mashable?

I know lots of questions, but I need to jump on this asap.

Thanks for your help and advice.
