Guest guest
I have been having a flare since last Thursday. I started back on prednisone. I am feeling a little better, but not much. I can't take pain pills and work. I hope everyone else is having some pain free days. Guest guest
Beth: I started a flare last week as well. I recently tapered off my Prednisone and hadn't had any for a few weeks. Had you been off Prednisone for a while or a short time? I don't know if you can work from home, do flexible hours or use your vacation time, but it's something to consider. Your body is in pain right now and you need rest. Is there something for pain that is light enough that you can take during work hours and still get done what you need to? What do you normally take? I am able to drive, take care of the kids, etc with either T3's or T4's. In fact, I am so used to them that it doesn't even feel like I'm taking anything anymore. Take care, > I have been having a flare since last Thursday. I > started back on prednisone. I am feeling a little > better, but not much. I can't take pain pills and > work. Guest guest
, I have only taken prednisone one other time. That was for about a month in June. I finally took just half of a hydrocodone and that worked pretty good. I have 106 hrs. of sick time but with the cold and flu season coming up, I am so afraid that I will need it more then. I work at the library part time in Tech. Services and part time in Children's. All of my co-workers are great. I hope you are feeling better. Guest guest
Dear Beth, Sorry you're in a flare--but then you're not alone! I spent most of last night playing Spider Solitaire on the computer. Even my tramadol didn't help last night, but this morning is a bit better though I'm foggy-headed. We were supposed to have our 5-year old grandson visit, but when they called at 9:00 and I said give us another hour, they decided it was better if he didn't visit today. I think having him here would've helped, but then I wasn't given the chance to decide! So I will just go sit with the heating pad on and bury my nose in a good book. You take care, Judi
