Have any of you had experience with severe diurnal (not nocturnal) teeth

grinding with your kids? My child is 22 yo and has been checked out thoroughly

by the dentist...no wisdom teeth erupting or apparent pain, ear infection

recently treated......can't really find a medical or physical cause. There is

extreme stress in our house now with alot of illness; she's being treated for

recurrent iron deficiency anemia...getting iron IVs once a week for 8 weeks.

She's had them before and we've not had the teeth grinding issue.

I found this online...a behavioral treatment involving a physical cue. Anyone

ever tried anything like this before? Did it work? Did it take forever? She's

very stressed I know but unable to process directions for relaxation techniques

and such. She has Down Syndrome as well as Autism. She wants to spend the day on

her swing going back and forth...I imagine it's soothing. Any input appreciated.
