Guest guest
Hello everybody! I'm a Canuck from British Columbia who has had RA for eight or nine years, and hoping to contribute to (and also get good advice from) this group. I'd like to recommend the forum on www.arthritis.ca if you haven't already had the opportunity to check it out. Although it's Canadian based, many Americans have joined us and provide wonderful ideas and comments. There are separate forums for almost every type of arthritis, so they could be quite helpful as a supplement to this one. A bit about me: I'm a 57-year-old female whose symptoms started very suddenly. Although I " m still working as a teacher of aspiring paralegals, I'm getting to the stage where LTD is the next step. I'm on Methotrexate by injection, arthrotec and oxycontin for pain. Flares are commonplace now. Joints affected include my vertabrae, hands, feet and most recently, my knees. Walking is difficult. The main problem for me is chronic fatigue. If anyone has any ideas as to how to combat the fatigue, apart from the normal exercise and vitamins, please let me know. I'd be most grateful for the tips. Cheerio for now! .... Roxana
