Oh !!!! My God!!! I will pray for their families. I don't know how

people continue on. I know you have no choice, but what an unbearable thing

to happen!!!!!

Yes. The two friends were playing and walking on the ice. At first,

the search was not concentrated on the lake for very long, even

though they were last seen in that area, because no one thought they

would go out onto it. These were very good, responsible, smart kids,

and the ice was thin and melted around the edges. It was the next

day that they were found by divers. We are recovering, but it's very

hard. One of the boys was in my daughter's 4th grade class and was

her " boy friend " and the other came to my private preschool and

kindergarten for three years. We knew and loved them both alot.

They'll be sorely missed.

Thanks for the prayers.

,

How sad that is. I'm sorry for your loss. I can only imagine I would keep

asking myself WHY????????? Smart, responsible kids doing something they know

better than to do. I often wonder about the saying, " When it's your time,

God takes you home. " It's at times like these you have to believe that, and

that if it wasn't the icy water that took them, it would have been another

way. My heart and prayers go out to you, Rose and their families.
