Hi, Everyone.........my first thought was did these behaviors occur

since starting the diet? Has been tested for GERD? Has he been

tested for celiac or did you just go straight to the diet? By the age of 10,

when Gareth got his first endoscopy, his esophagus was raw meat. At age 10,

we put Gareth on Risperdal to stop the head banging....I was so afraid

he's end up with severe brain damage banging it on the tile floor and walls.

After that, the haircuts were easier, nail cuttings not a problem, teeth

grinding stopped, ODD behaviors, etc, went away.

Liz....OMGosh.........sweet, little Tori?!?!? Did you ask her why she

wanted to cut her neck? Maybe she hurts there.........who knows with our

kids!!!

I had Gareth to an ENT yesterday....first time in yrs since his PCP always

took care of his ear infections. Well, two weeks ago, he was put on 3000

mg Amoxicillin/day because I had him to the PCP and he had a red, inflamed

left ear. Yesterday, the ENT guy looked in and commented *yes, he's got a

pretty good perforation....probably 35% of his ear drum* WHAT ?!?!? Here,

on all that A, the kid still blew out his ear drum.....never indicating

that it was hurting or anything. The doc got to talking about *Biofilm* and

APOLOGIZED (OMGosh....a doc apologizing!!!) for all of G's previous docs

because he said we have a whole generation of kids like Gareth, who had

numerous sets of ear tubes and loaded up with antibiotics as children. Now,

they are finding that ears have *Biofilms of bacteria*.....good bacteria.

Just like the intestines, there's good bacteria and there's the bad bacteria.

Margaret! I know...I asked her why..but she still can't answer that one

important WH question. And I can't even scare with Docs or hospitals

because she freakin loves them.
