Guest guest
I wish I had never read this. This is one of those things that will haunt me for a long time. I just held my sweet 6 year old Asher tight and had a good cry...he is the same age as that poor little boy > > > http://www.kansascity.com/2011/03/18/2735046/de-soto-woman-pleads-guilty-to.html >

Guest guest
How sad that things like this exist in our world. Why couldn't she just give him up to a home where people would love him? Even though she could not be certain that he would not be mistreated in another home, at least she knew she would not be mistreating him. I am glad this article did NOT have pictures; I was already in tears enough as it is. > > > http://www.kansascity.com/2011/03/18/2735046/de-soto-woman-pleads-guilty-to.html >
Guest guest
Wonder what the mother's mental capacity is. Nothing is mentioned about either the family circumstances (those kids were NOT born by immaculate conception) and the mental state of the mother. And where were the schools, neighbors, extended families?? This family was not an island. Guest guest
I just can't imagine how the max she can get in jail is 6 years and that is if she gets that. The child is now with grandmother but I just don't know how nobody picked up on this especially grandparents if they were around. This is a reality and things horrible like this happens in many places I just hope others look out for those who can't defend themselves, that we all keep a eye out for those in our communities. I know that some months ago a friends coworker saw that one of her students in her special needs class had burns on his skin that looked like cigaret burns well as a teachers job is she had to call it in and I hope that case was resolved before something major had to happen to this child. Sorry if it was too much for some I will watch carefully what I post. > > > > > > > > > > > http://www.kansascity.com/2011/03/18/2735046/de-soto-woman-pleads-guilty-to.html > > > > > > > > > > > > > -- > Sara- different pathways lead to Nirvana. > > >
