Guest guest
When Charlyne was telling us all about her snow, I was a bit jealous but then we got five more inches in Wisconsin and I felt better. Then Sara said it was 55 in Georgia and I thought, 'what perfect hiking in the woods weather " which is one of our favorite activities. This morning when I walked the dogs it was minus 10, now it is minus 11 and it is 9 AM. I'm not even going to bother looking up the wind chill. Yikes! But the days are getting longer and spring will come. Have a great week-end! Lori Mom to Isaac 14 and Tony

Guest guest
Nothing to be jealous of, believe me, we have about 5-6 " of new snow and the sun is just starting to peak through. We have no school again which is perfectly fine with me. I am on the count down to graduation. I will put the inside work on hold again to go out with my shovel and help dh climb into his loader. We have a 20' ft shop door that I have to lift with the help of a long board. I don't have enough strength to push it all the way up. Oh, my aching shoulders! The loader stays inside the shop inbetween storms for greasing and fueling. The colder temps are expected tonight and throughout the weekend, they are predicting -0+ and that is not wind chill temps, burr. Guest guest
brrrr, i know what you mean lori, this morning it was snowing again here in iowa,(still is right now even) and -8 but then with the wind chill     -18, schools 2hrs late AGAIN, uuugh. Even my truck hesitated starting this morning to warm up and defrost before i took boys to school, took two tries, I work all weekend this weekend and we all will probably have to start our vehicles at least once during the night if it stays like this. shawna    http://sewshawna.blogspot.com ________________________________ To: Sent: Fri, January 21, 2011 9:02:39 AM Subject: late to the winter discussion  When Charlyne was telling us all about her snow, I was a bit jealous but then we got five more inches in Wisconsin and I felt better. Guest guest
LOL, a some people are disciplined with their exercise programs. Our little dog took one look at the snow and peed on the front step and ran back in. I took the time to put his coat on him and shovel the pee path. He wasn't having any of that. Guest guest
While I do like walking two miles a day - and really need it - we have high energy dogs and our big back yard does not yet have a fence. DH has promised me one this spring. So, out the dogs and I go. Pippi Longstocking is a beagle/jack russel mix and does try to run back inside but the pointer/lab (Miss Mia) is happy, happy, happy to go for her walks. I bought Pippi a jacket last year but she refuses to wear it. If we are being mean we will put it on her (it is pink and fuzzy and the Gabor sisters would like it) just to watch her face but then we take it right back off. And then we are nice to her, I promise. Lori _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of charlyne1121@...
