Guest guest Posted January 5, 2011 Report Share Posted January 5, 2011 B/P can go up if there is a kidney problem - infection, damage, tumor, etc. One of the signs doc's look for with high blood pressure is kidney issues. My husband has kidney disease. His nephrologist follows him as closely as his internist because his blood pressure goes very high.
