I am allergic to Thimerisol, so if I did get it, would need the Thimerisol-free stuff. I am not taking the chance that is too, because that is probably the case. I would rather take a chance on getting the flu. Besides the flu shots cannot protect you from all types of flu, only whichever kind(s) it is made for. There are lots of types of flu out there. I used to think the flu was that awful throwing-up & diarreaha thing, until a few years ago. But it is a respiratory virus, correct Sara?
