Guest guest
HI, Everyone....Irene.....I was thinking, after I posted, that I should have asked why the Risperdal dosage is so low at night and high in the morning. Why not space out the Risperdal, 1 mg in am and 1 mg in pm? The higher Risperdal dosage will help with sleeping at night, too. Gareth takes his 20 mg of Lexapro in the morning. He still need one Benadryl at bedtime to sleep through the night. The 180# is his weight. A sincere, thank you, to all who have helped me save my sanity throughout the last 12 years!!! Prayers that all will have a safe holiday, with little stress on our kids. Gareth is already focused on *turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy*. This is a kid that, until 10 yrs old, ate nothing but Spaghetti O's, Cheerios, and fruit salad!!! Take care, Everyone. Margaret
Guest guest
Hi Margaret, Originally, the doctor prescribed 2mg to be taken in the morning to help him with his fears during the day.  But after 's reaction to it, the doctor decided to drop the dose to 1/2 mg to be taken at night. We will be increasing the dose very slowly to avoid having sleeping on his feet all day. Hopefully, the sleepiness will diminish if we increase the dose slowly. I like the idea of splitting the dose morning and night. This way it is more even, helps him with his fears during the day and with sleep at night. Many thanks, Irene ________________________________ To: Sent: Tue, November 23, 2010 8:10:33 PM Subject: Irene/Turkey Day  HI, Everyone....Irene.....I was thinking, after I posted, that I should have asked why the Risperdal dosage is so low at night and high in the morning.
