LOL Keep that sense of humor! It's four o'clock in the morning and I'm

though. Sorry , my brain is mush! LOL Seth literally climbed the

mantle tonight and in one swipe with his short little arm knocked off three

candles and broke them. Then he decided to eat the outlet cover, right off

the outlet! He is now running back and forth through the house, testing his

lungs. Guess I must be nuts, because I'm not crying! LOL

Gail-who is off to run with Seth until one of us drops!

Omigosh Gail!!!!! You poor thing!!! I hope you get some sleep today!!!

Maddie is the only one in school and I decided to send her so I could do

something with Allie. Is Seth in school today? If so, try and snooze a

Wasn't so bad! :-) Seth was doing so many new sounds and actions that I

really did enjoy watching him. They are all gone today, but it was cool last

night. Now, the dangerous things like breaking the candle dishes right over

his head and eating the outlet cover off the wall, well, thank God for those

Guardian Angels huh? LOL No school today for Seth and even if there were,

he's too tired! LOL I gave up first. Took a blanket and pillow at 5:30 AM

and laid down on the floor in front of the gate. Hope you had a good day

with Allie!

My manager just informed me 30 minutes ago that a gate that has not been working

for over a year will be working tomorrow morning and I need to get to work and

take my son to school he has a wheel chair and I know this must be against the

law they inform me over night my mom put the control away and she is on vacation

and I can't get a hold of her, they should not be able to lock my car in the

garage like this what if I have a emergency I just don't know what I can do can

someone help of course in another case I could park on the street but the whole

block is on construction and I would have to park a block away this is not

right. Can someone give me some ideas I called the person on top of the appt.

I used to be an apartment MGR. when I was young. I do not understand your story.

The gate in now working so how would that mean you would be blocked in? When you

say you called the person on top of the apt. Mgr. what was that person name and

title? You do have rights but you need to look at your lease agreement on terms

of the apt. notice. If there is a stipulation that the Apt. community only needs

to give tenants a 24 hours notice that is a legal binding contract and nothing

could be done however if it says 72 hours notice then you can all the property

management supervisor and let them know you that the apt. Mgr. did not give you

proper notice for this repair. If your contract says in an emergency the Apt.

community does not have to give you notice and this is considered an emergency

then they do not have to give you notice. When you say gate are you talking

about a garage door and door opener. Sorry I cannot make sense of the wording.

Sorry I am so upset that I don't know how I am writing things I mean I am given

a overnight notice that the gate to the garage parking will be fixed it's been

over a year that this gate has been left open because it was too much money to

repair and they were not going to put the money in to repair it and that is what

they told us that is was going to stay like that and we put the control for the

gate away well my mom did and I don't know where that is but I know they need a

24hr notice not a overnight notice to tell me that I need to have the control by

tomorrow morning that must not be right and if so I need to buy one and so I do

but would still need to wait till they receive it so they can give it to me and

who knows how long this will take I talked to management and he said they have

been waiting for the parts for a month now and so I asked him why are we

informed till now he said well your contract states that you only need 24hr

notice and I said yes that means tomorrow at 9pm the gate should be working that

is a 24hr. notice my son is sleeping I am not going to go over two or more

blocks down the street to find a parking spot and if I find it put him in his

wheel chair and wheel him home and put him back to sleep I will not do this. So

tomorrow morning I will be locked in well my car and yes I might just be doing a

big deal but they should not be able to do this.

If I am understanding correctly, call the ADA comission...or ? (I forgot who to

call......) Report them for not having handicapped access. All places have to

have handicap access...it is the law.

chews on everything! He use to chew on his fingers until they would

bleed. He would never use a chew tube or nuby his OT gave him. We found a long

neck dinosaur that he loves, and when he starts chewing one things we make sure

he has it. We NEVER leave the house without it. We even turned around after 20

miles, of leaving our vacation at grandma's in Ga to get him(the dinosaur). It

would have been a long ride back to FL if not. It might not be the best thing

for him, but it is the ONLY thing that works for him.

Is your child really eating the cards or just chewing on them until they are

destroyed? There is a condition called PICA and I am giving you a link about why

kids eat non-food items. I hope it helps you.
