Guest guest
This article is purely speculation. I really doubt the diabetes link. I never had any gestational diabetes, not only that, but if I am the problem how come my daughter is so bright & my son is DS & autistic? I have a couple of friends who did have gestational diabetes & had a normal kids. Obviously they have no factual evidence. I have to wonder about the virus thing. That seems to make more sense to me. If a child has a mitochondrial genetic condition, then is hit with some kind of virus (possibly from a vaccination), it could be a trigger. Guest guest
I don't agree with the idea that gestational diabetes can cause autism. I've had gestational diabetes with all 7 of my children. Only ph appears to have autism. I think it has more to do with viruses and food dyes. ph regressed and started displaying autistic tendencies after he had the flu when he was about 1 1/2 years old.
