Guest guest
Hi, Everyone.....Liz.....I sure hope you figure Tori out. How high a dose is she on for the Risperdal? Someday's, I tell Gareth he's just having a 'plain old meanness day'. Becky....I am so sorry to hear about Dylan going through this. Was it an infected hair follicle? I'd definitely get the chest checked out (X-ray) and did they bx the infection to r/o cancer? <<nathan is 19 and speaks very little, mainly needs, wants, or direct answers to a questions, in 1-3 words that are often difficult to understand unless you are around him lots like us.>> a.....gosh.....we're talking about Gareth here!!! Does stutter so badly like Gareth does? I think that is why he stops/doesn't talk much. <<Her aide wrote no stimming, laughing or humming>> .....that sounds like she is heading in the right direction, though. The main benefit that I found from Risperdal (similar to Seraquel) was that Gareth was finally able to focus and we could work on behaviors without him getting so angry/frustrated. He could relate to pain/discomfort and was better able to tell me " food tube hurts " " knee hurts " . I hope you can continue to keep her on it for a while. Take care, Everyone.
