Guest guest Posted September 30, 2010 Report Share Posted September 30, 2010 - The first thing I was told to do was make " Autism " Drew's primary diagnosis on his IEP.Then the services that are needed (i.e. behavior therapy) must be provided by the school.I called an IEP meeting immediately, made the change, & Drew was given BT & music therapy (after they completed their testing) within 3 weeks time. I hope this helps.....I'm still a newbie to this, too, as his ASD diagnosis was just made a year ago this month.
