Went into theatre or what have you where American Werewolf in London filmed the werewolf trapped. Went to various sites. Rode the rail system quite a bit, went to Amsterdam, across the New England channel? The English fury channel? Paris (up the top part of the Eiffel)to the Louve' was so shocked to see the Mona was so small, Belguim, Cologne(however ya spell it), Germany,Beetoven's childhood home, etc... It was through A.I.F.S. = American Institute for Foreign Study. I was in the top ten students in Okc, Oklahoma and was selected with 12 other students to go. 2 of whom's parents were guides - I was only 12 then. I really didn't appreciate it until years later. It was an awesome adventure. I hope to go back someday. I had a fantastic time. Met and stayed with alot of various host families and in College dorms. I consider myself very lucky and spoiled to have been able to go! My mom felt it very important and I sure appreciate her for it. She later hosted 16 foreign exchange students from like 12-13 other countries. I didn't realize how many until reading her obit a couple of weeks ago. Kinda crappy, I know. I also hope to go to Sweden as I am of Swedish descent. My mother travelled extensively to several countries and I hope to go to some of them as well like Austria, Switzerland, Slovokia and so on. The pictures she brought back were breathtaking of all the Cathedrals and squares! Anyhow - in England I went to Buckingham Palace and watched the changing of the guards, wherever they keep the royal Crown Jewels, and so on! I liked it there and the people seemed very cheery!
