Guest guest
Geez Kris, dh laughed? mine would have been swearing like and then some. I hope your out of pocket isn't too bad. It would have freaked Zeb out. Charlyne Mom to Zeb 17 DS Subject: Re: Trees and our houses ! To: Date: Sunday, September 5, 2010, 7:36 PM Â Sara-yes insurance. Explorer does not look damaged but mustang will need a new top. However, homeowners insurance will only cover whatever the tree actually touched & the part of the tree that did the touching. In other words, there is a limit to what all insurance will pay as far as the removal of the tree itself. It is/was a very big specimen tree. We have a 2 story house. The tree part that decided to break off for no reason landed on the 2nd floor roof, the front porch & both our vehicles. And there is still (almost) a whole tree left standing that needs to be removed. It is very weird. All I am doing now is wishing that rest of tree stays put until someone can come remove it. Fortunately, my dear adult sons came over next day to help unbury the vehicles & front door. And DJ did not freak- I suppose since dad was laughing & I just kept saying, ok now we live in a tree house... Fun times. Guest guest
Kris, you are lucky that DJ was fine. Charlyne Subject: Re: Trees and our houses ! To: Date: Monday, September 6, 2010, 9:01 AM Â Charlyne, DJ kept saying " Whats so funny? " . LOL. My sentiments exactly at the time! Although in hindsight I suppose it is refreshing that spouse would react that way. Either that or scary (kidding). Although DJ did not freak out, I think it is because we did not & we tried to stay silly & calm so he would be ok. DJ did get somewhat antsy/hyper-at least for him, but eventually this passed. Hugs, Kris > > > > Subject: Re: Trees and our houses ! > To: > Date: Sunday, September 5, 2010, 7:36 PM > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
