you would have liked my classroom. Picture a wading pool filled with

cooked spaghetti noodles & tiny beings sitting in the pool....LOL

the memories I have of that exercise! Or whipping cream... On many levels, it's

a good thing our janitor liked me..

Food, creativity, flexibility & adaptation works in many many ways to promote

developmental skills.

Pnut butter playdough was another favorite (except at home with DJ) & so was

whipped creme (to me shaving cream could sting-so I opted out of that one)

I cannot count how many kiddos learned to or became motivated to attempt a skill

using such as this. And ultimately were successful.

These were kiddos in the 0-5 age group & for what it's worth never had problems

later on with manners or concrete understandings.

Therapy & learning should be fun, imho.
