Guest guest
you would have liked my classroom. Picture a wading pool filled with cooked spaghetti noodles & tiny beings sitting in the pool....LOL the memories I have of that exercise! Or whipping cream... On many levels, it's a good thing our janitor liked me.. Food, creativity, flexibility & adaptation works in many many ways to promote developmental skills. Pnut butter playdough was another favorite (except at home with DJ) & so was whipped creme (to me shaving cream could sting-so I opted out of that one) I cannot count how many kiddos learned to or became motivated to attempt a skill using such as this. And ultimately were successful. These were kiddos in the 0-5 age group & for what it's worth never had problems later on with manners or concrete understandings. Therapy & learning should be fun, imho. Kris > > > > > > : As a parent, I too would be concerned.
