Atlantoaxial Instability

I just got a call from 's neurologist's office saying that they just

noticed that was never tested for atlantoaxial instability. We were

never told to do this and I didn't know all kids with ds were supposed to be

x-rayed. We will be going this week. I just did a search and it sounds pretty

uncommon but with our luck who knows. Did everyone else have this done? I can't

believe none of our doctors ever ordered this.

Of course I can't tell if has any symptoms because he does walk clumsily

and he does have poor coordination.
