Guest guest
We got the results from 's heart echo today. 's big ole ASD is now CLOSED. No surgery!!!! Yay!!! We've know almost since his birth that had a large VSD that " closed " in utero--part of his tricuspid valve sealed up the hole. So the doc told is today that we'll need to have him checked every 3 yrs or so to make sure that the valve hasn't slipped as his heart grows. Once he's an adult it'll be a non-issue. So, good news. Last night he nearly gave US heart attacks. He finally got over the 6' fence. DH had stepped in for just a quick bathroom trip. I was on my treadmill. Suddenly I'm hearing crazy commotion outside...the neighbors behind us are yelling and screaming to get our attention. was in their neighbor's yard! The neighbors who yelled have a pool in their yard...their yard is just as easy to get to as the one he was in! Ugh. In other news...I took my oldest son (9, mild Asperger) to a ziplining adventure for special needs kiddos. The emphasis was on overcoming fear. did great! I loved it, too. But boy are my arms and shoulders sore today (there was a rope climbing/obstacle course as well as the zipping). Sent from my iPhone
