Guest guest
If anything, soy does help with post menapausal as well as premenstral symptoms. When I had my hysterectomoy, I couldn't tolerate the hormones. So, I put myself on Estroven. It contains soy isoflavens and an herb called black cohosh. The black cohosh helps with hot flashes and insomnia. The soy isoflavins helps your body produce more estrogen from other areas when your ovaries no longer do this or if they have been removed. My OB/GYN said that the reason my PMS sypmtoms where minimal was probably because I use soy products as my primary source of protein (I'm vegetarian). Besides that, I feel it to be safer than HRT. So, with soy helping your body produce its own estrogen, it would mae sense that it would help reduce fractures.....Marina
