Guest guest
Sorry about that - hit the wrong button. Anyhoo... Greetings from Maine! Life is nuts as always. Have had many shin-digs going on here between hubby's promotion party with the Air Force, his moving to the Pentagon, - our oldest - graduating High School, having his graduation party, etc... Life is chaotic this time of year. Welcome to all the new folks - you've found THE place for all things Ds/autism. I'm Jayne, Mom to , newly 11 years old and newly repaired Atrial Septal Aneurysm. He's the $6,000,000,000 man! So...ESY! I finally made the decision to not have attend ESY this summer. Our district made the very wrong, in my opinion, decision to hold ESY for only three weeks this summer. School gets out this Thursday. ESY will start Monday and go for 4 days (M-TH) 8-11. Then will break until The two weeks before school starts in August and go for two weeks (M - Th)! Can you imagine? That should keep the regression at bay don't you think??? I wrote a letter to the district letting them know that we wouldn't be participating this year. My sister is having her wedding in august knowing that we had the best chance of attending then - It's just going to be a regular summer here for us! I think it will be great. We'll try to carve out some time in 's day to devote to a few skills he has trouble with but mostly we're just going to enjoy summer - Hope everyone is well- Jayne www.wickedbusymomto3.wordprress.com www.carepages.com/carepages/Hickey
