Guest guest
Hi, visited his developmental ped today, at the T-21 clinic at CHOP. It was a really good visit! What really struck me was the difference from last year to now. Last year, DH and I were frazzled, worried and terrified about 's inability to recognize danger. This year, well, it's still something we think about, but we see how far he's come. He's doing well with potty training, he listens to " no " and " stop " much of the time, and he follows certain directions well, too. Mostly, he's developed his personality--he's a personality-plus kind of kid! So this year, DH and I felt more confident, proud, happy. . How far this whole family has come! The Dr saw some of 's aggression towards his sister...she saw it as a positive-- seeking attention from her, wanting to interact but not getting it right.
