Guest guest
Hi All, We are very lucky that we don't have sleeping issues with Quinn (6 years old) when we are at home. But when we are away it is a whole other story. He seems like he gets hyped up because we are in a new and different place and there is no way we can just leave him alone in a completely childproof room to calm down like we do at home. Plus we are usually in a single hotel room so when he stays up, everyone stays up We have 2 family trips coming up this summer and I was wondering if giving him something to help him sleep would be okay? Does Benedryl work for your kids, does anyone else even do this? Is there a medication that would work better that I can get from our doctor? Quinn has no health issues so I am not really concerned about giving him medication occasionally. I feel bad considering it, but I think it might be best for everyone including Quinn. Thanks, Amy
