Guest guest
Hello. Had my bone density test today, and of course I left there knowing nothing about what's going on. The results need to be reviewed by a Radiologist and they can't do it until Monday. My doc should hear what's happening by Wednesday or so. Question for those of you who've had it done. I was able to see some of the images they took, but of course, don't know how to interpret them. Have any of you seen the images and noticed very dark spots scattered throughout the image of the bone? I had my foot and knee done. The spots don't seem to be symetrical or anything. Just looking for a little insight as to what's going on.
Guest guest
Not sure what the black spots are (maybe anomolies of some sort?), but when you look at xrays of my hands, they appear completely hollow - not white like a normal xray. I will probably have to have a DEXA scan in the near future, but right now I'm getting about one spinal tap a week, and that is about all I can handle right now . As soon as they are done with that, I'll be getting more tests, including the scan and blood tests, to find out why my density appears to be so low. > Hello. > > Had my bone density test today, and of course I left there knowing nothing > about what's going on.
