Guest guest
Hi, Everyone..........I would talk to the doctor again, state your concerns, and ask specific questions. Why do you want me to use this med: is this common for unruly/hyper/won't comply kids: how long will the side affects last, etc. Why does she need the EEG.....to r/o seizures? If so, the benefit of the Tizanidine and getting a good read out, the first time, would far outweigh MY concerns over using the med --- IF that is a common procedure. Also, another " heads up " ........Gareth had long hair for his week long EEG study and it took FOREVER to get the glue out of his hair!!! That was worse than the electrodes being in all week because they had to use rubbing alcohol to get the glue out, and he couldn't tolerate the smell and them pulling on his hair. They sent Gareth home with the glue in his hair and made me 'work on it' at home. Make sure she is still 'under' when they try to take the glue out. Take care, Everyone.
