Guest guest
Hi Yas: I am lucky and don't have any rheumatoid nodules, so can't answer that one for you. Yes, Prednisone is the drug we love and hate. For me, it makes me very serious and also very wired feeling. I am also hungry all the time - not something good when you are overweight anyway lol. My mind races so that I would take the Prednisone in the morning - otherwise it will really mess with your sleep. It is a wonderful drug, though, as far as inflammation and pain are concerned - you will feel the difference very quickly - but make sure that when you go off of it that you taper down slowly, otherwise you will flare up again. At least your doctor seems to be understanding and is willing to treat your pain seriously. Kathe in CA --- yasdnilnoyl <lindsaylyon@...> wrote: > I saw my Rheumy for the 1st time a week ago.
