Guest guest
Took to the eye doctor today. I love this eye doctor and his staff, they are fantastic with . We hadn't been for two years as the eyes got put to the back burner when all the TIA's started. He sat so well, did awesome for all the tests and exam. They checked his vision with a machine, had him identify pictures and letters. Didn't dilate today as J wasn't too in to the possibility of drops but the doc was fine with that. We'll do it next year. J was funny when it got to a line that he couldn't clearly see, he was guessing at the letters - so cute. He's 20/60 un-corrected and could only correct to 20/40. I guess we'll go by Walmart and look into some frames. The good thing about our secondary insurance, MaineCare, is that the doc told me they will pay for glasses and if he breaks them, they'll pay for another pair. Great news as I'm sure losing or breaking the glasses is in our future! Let's be realistic. Anyone who's child wears glasses have any advice? Thanks, Jayne
