After 4 years with the heavy dynavox DV4 at a cost of $5000 (used) we are

exploring the proloquo2go. Does anyone have positive or negative feedback on

this device?

One thing I noticed is that it has many other functions other than speech

communication. I wonder if there is a way to turn these options off for a

while, since he is so young.

If you search the archives of the group under the subject line " Ipod " " ITouch "

and Proloquo2go or P2Go, even " IPad " you'll find the recent discussions we've

had here about this device and program.

We just bought one for my son. I am in the process of setting it up to fit his

specific needs, but it is quite easy. I LOVE it so far! We love some of the

other free downloads you can get so he can play games, listen to music, or

whatever, which will come in handy when we are on road trips or waiting for a

doctor's appointment. It is so light and turns on and is ready to use

immediately. I too need to look up past discussions on this . . .
