Guest guest
Oh Jane, my heart goes out to you and yours. When my 2 youngest were molested, the grand jury decided NOT to indict because my girls were so young, and one had a developmental disability and they just did not think the kids could articulate well enough to present enough evidence to win the case, those every member of the grand jury felt sick and sick and angry and were apologetic. When I was told this, I swear the social worker read my mind as before I could get a word out she said, " Now DO NOT go after those S.O.B's...your girls need you at home NOT in prison. " @$!^#%# Of course she was right, and through the years I have done all I can to help them cope and grow...therapy was a big help in the beginning. But mostly it has had to be my faith in God that helped me help them. Know you and yours are in my heart and in my prayers. Guest guest
I know exactly how you feel. feels like the perpetrator will not meet the terms of his probation (financially) and will wind up in prison. The bad thing is, the molestor is her husband's nephew which has caused a huge rift in the family. There are few times in my life when I've been afraid of what I might do to someone, but this is one of them. I am so sorry that you and your daughters had to live through this kind of nightmare. I know that God will give us grace to get through this. I also know that He will deal with this young man, so I am just praying healing and peace fo the babies and the rest of the family. Thank you so much for your prayers, and for sharing your heart. i know it's hard to talk about. I hope your fibro flare has calmed down and that you are having better days.
