Guest guest
Hi Desi, Sister's trip will be a memory she will never forget. I would be jealous too. Charlyne Subject: Sibling's Reward of a Lifetime...first stop-Paris! To: Date: Friday, June 18, 2010, 11:26 PM Â Aloha All, Aubrey's (12, PDDNOS, Dstr21, Hearing Impaired) older sibling (15) arrived in Paris yesterday! She is with her Summer School World History teachers and 80 other classmates from her school here in Hawai'i on a European tour for school credit... Yesterday I finally got a photo text from her standing in front of Hotel de Ville (the Parisian City Hall building). When I woke this morning there was a text message waiting for me to open. It was a lovely photo of her in front of the Eiffel Tower! So surreal! Oui! I am soooo jealous, but so incredibly happy for her! Today, her assignment was to be the tour guide on the bus as they passed the Sorbonne University...(can't wait to hear how that went!)...after seeing the Notre Dame Cathedral, Arc de Triomphe while traveling along the Champs-Elysees and later today~even touring the Halls of the elaborate palace of Louis XIV in Versailles...(Mom did so via the internet so am looking forward to seeing the photos she took in a couple of weeks!) More in the days to come as we enjoy our European " virtual tour! " Merci! Au revoir! Desi, and Aubrey McKenzie Mililani, Hi
