Guest guest
Hi All: We kept Tony home for the first three quarters of the school year and homeschooled him. He thrived! It was great to see. We thought he was ready to go back to school and he started 4th quarter in a new school that has really tried to meet his needs. They have been as kind and gentle as it gets in public school. The last three weeks Tony has protested by peeing his pants. Last week he was peeing two and three times a day in his pants. Today, all the way to school he said, " I don't want school " and he peed his pants. This is NOT a toilet training issue. He was potty trained at 4. It is not laziness, he likes working and learning. It is an " I hate school " issue. We have an IEP tomorrow to consider half days for Tony. We do all agree that he gets over-stimulated and zones out but we also all agree he has control over the peeing. Any suggestions? Lori Mom to Isaac, 13 and Tony 11 (who hates school in case anyone missed that)
