Thank you very much for this site, Judi. It seems that all hummingbirds

except one species seen in NC are considered vagrants. So I submitted

the information about my little vagrant unknown hummingbird. I found up

a picture that I took of one last summer. It really was hard to get a

picture of the little critter, but this one is pretty clear. It shows

those two yellow strips down below his wings. I had a hard time

figuring out at first if it was a hummingbird or a bee. I could send

the picture to you as an attachment if you'd like.
