Happy anniversary, Tracie, to you both!

Ron and I were married 29 years on August 29. Some days we hold each

other up, other days we celebrate the good days. Living on his

retirement income & Soc. Sec. until my Social Sec. kicks in, 3 years

from now (well, 2 1/2 years.) He turned 68 on 9/11 and I was 59 on

April 16. Blessings toyou both!

Judi in IN,

Wow, 29 years, now that is an inspiration. Happy belated anniversary

to you both! Thanks for the good wishes. Sometimes it is nice to

discuss joyful things, especially when we can feel so lousy huh?

Today was a good day overall. I definitely know what you mean about

holding each other up. LOL. Take care.

Hugs,

Sue,

Thanks for the reply and so far you are the winner, ding, ding, ding.

Longest married that replied. WOW almost 44 years. How have you put

up with him that long? Actually, I bet you would be looking for him

if he weren't around, LOL. 44 years is a very long time. We had a

wonderful day as it turned out. Take care.

Well, June, you have definitely edged me out of the competition, LOL!

Congratulations to you and your hubby for putting up with each other so

long. My anniversary is Nov. 22, the same day that Pres. Kennedy was

shot. It certainly makes it easy to remember.

On Oct 23rd, Betty and I will celebrate 41 years! I wouldn't mind another 41

since we are so close to each other. It doesn't take any work except when

I'm hurting too much, then I get annoying. She understands. I wish everyone

has what we do. Congrats on 19! You're doing something right.

Hey June,

You win on longest marriage with 55 years so far! Sorry, I don't have

a real prize, but then you are already a winner if you have had 55

years with someone you love right? I was amazed by all these

responses, how sweet it is.

Guess what, I am a virgo too! Yes, we are a little hard to live with

sometimes, okay a lot hard to live with sometimes! We are also sweet

and very loyal as I am sure your hubby knows!

Thanks again,

Tracie

Sue,

Someone beat you guys with 55 years, thank goodness since I don't have

a real prize! LOL. I thought the marriage lasting so long was the

real prize?? At least I hope so. Hope you have a good sense of

humor, I know I do. Thanks again.
