Special Needs and High Needs Children

This is sort of off topic, but does anyone have a high needs child along with

your special needs kiddos? Evangelina is so demanding and clingy that Mina is

often the one who gets a lot less attention, believe it or not. So in our

house, the child with special needs is the one with less mommy time. I am also

an AP mom, so I don't like the idea of letting Evangelina sit there and ball

while I ignore her to play with Mina. Evangelina is 19 months old, and Mina is

5 years old. Anyone in this boat with me, cause I posted about this on the high

needs child forum and no one is in the same situation. The only other person I

know of is Dr. Bill Sears who coined the term " high needs child " and whose

youngest child has Down Syndrome. However, he isn't exactly going to be calling

me up with advice, lol! Help! I feel like I am cheating Mina out of time

together and we used to be inseparable.
