This is the only place where anyone would have a similar experience>>> Hi, Everyone....Theresa....and now that you know about DS/ASD, don't you want to walk up to some parents with DS kids and say " Oh, my kid's autistic, too!!! " because their kiddo is acting like ours. Much to their surprise, they may not even know the two can coexist. Alina....enjoy your trip. Sorry to hear that school isn't working out, though. When you get back, perhaps you can fill us in on what's wrong, where you live, etc., and someone may be able to help out with a better placement.
