Tawny,

I'm so glad that the mom lost her custody rights. At least something

went well. It sounds like they are in a very

religious environment and don't understand that someone doesn't have

to go to church regularly to be a Christian.

I hope you can feel some relief that they aren't with their mother

and they are happy where they are. Maybe in

the future, they will want to be with their father.

I hope you get some rest. Those long trips are brutal.

Dear Tawney,

Hi, Sorry I am so behind on my E-mails, but you and your situation have been

in my prayers. It sounds like, to me, that the girls need a different view

of what God and Christianity are really all about. We still need to live in

this world, not conform, but not be so non-conforming. I have written and

read your e-mails for over a year, and believe that you are the home they

belong in. Please hold tight, there are rough waters ahead, but think how very

beautiful the rainbow will be! These girls needs you.

Gentle Hugs & Prayers,

Carol M. in CA

Hi Carol,

Thanks so much for the kind words. These girls have been so abused, I

am just so thankful they are out of the clutches of their Mom. We

just want them happy and safe. They have never had a safe haven, and

they have that right now, and scared to let it go, I can understand

that. They really don't know us, and so it will take time, and we

have that. Will keep you in my prayers, and thanks so much, Tawny

Dear Tawny,

Sorry I missed your earlier post--have been in the grips of a major

allergy attack, and I had to run around the yard chasing my head from

all the sneezing!

I hope you are feeling better today and a bit rested. I think the

stress of wanting to help your girls is worse than any pain. Your

heart wants to take them in and love them, and people are not allowing

it. But rest assured that the girls will always be in God's care, and

at least they are away from their mother.

What church do the girls' pastor belong to? If they lived with you,

couldn't you take them to church every week? Could you home school

them?

I'll keep all of you in my prayers, as always,

Judi

Hi Judi,

I woke up in so much pain this morning. My feet are really bothering

me, plus my back is giving me major problems. You are right, stress

is playing a big role in this. They are penacostel, and I know I'm

not spelling that write, so forgive me. They could go to church here.

I am not able to homeschool, that is just too much for me to deal

with. I had to last year, because of the area where we were, but that

is why we moved. I hope you start feeling better soon, Tawny
