Guest guest
Hi all I have read that people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) are prone to develop osteoporosis, especially women. Inhibition of bone formation and/or excessive bone reabsorption may be responsible. I rarely take prednizone, maybe two or three times in my life but I also have severe osteoporosis (-2.9) and I'm only 53. It is just one of the many unfortunate symptoms of the disease.
