Guest guest
Just wanted to let you all know, Leah just called me. Ash has been moved from the ICU to a regular room because there were way too many germs in there. She is concious, breathing on her own and asking for " chili cheese dog, cheeseburger, fries, Dr. Pepper " , and so on! Leah said Ash and her caregiver had been at the hospital for blood draws and all was well. However, about an hour after getting home, Ash started a seizure, collapsed on the floor, and was unresponsive, and not breathing. She was going cyanotic..and her caregiver called 911 immediately. She had 2 more seizures on the way to the hospital. The docs are not sure 100% as to what is causing these seizures, but say a part of it is the early onset Alzheimers. & Leah are planning to take Ash to Disney in the beginning of April so she can fulfill another of her dreams. Although it is extremely painful to do, Leah has made all arrangements for what is unfortunately, inevitable. I ask that you all Please just keep them in your prayers. Leah really appreciates all of you on the list, and considers all of you family. As I get updates, I will most definitely post them Liz -- Let me win, but if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt. - Special Olympics Motto-RIP Eunice Kennedy Shriver “When we long for life without difficulties, remind us that oaks grow strong in contrary winds and diamonds are made under pressure.-Author Unknown " Knowing trees, I understand the meaning of patience.
