Guest guest Posted September 2, 2005 Report Share Posted September 2, 2005 Dear Tess, Whatever you do, do NOT let the surgeon or any doctor convince you that " lipomas don't hurt " ...because they DO hurt!! Be sure to get a copy of your surgical report and biopsy, which will tell you exactly what the " item " is, if it is a lipoma, encapsulated, angiolipoma, whatever, and if muscle tissue or nerves are involved, because that is important.
