Guest guest
My goodness, what a lot to have going on at the same time. God bless you! My ex was a paramedic, and most of them have ring cutters in their kits, very easy to operate and cut clean. Please keep us posted on how you, and your family, go on. Peace of Christ jane --- In , " dreamer_plus " <dreamer_plus@w...> wrote: > Oh man, last nite my right forearm began to swell, and then my left hand fingers. This is not unusual, so I went about my evening. About midnite, my wedding ring finger began to hurt. I had put my rings back on after a lengthy time not being able to wear them, thinking if my fingers began to swell again, I would be able to get them off agin. I was wrong. I oiled my finger, I aspercreamed my finger, I held it in ice water for hours, There are actually 4 rings on that finger, and I was able to get the outermost one off, but, it damaged my finger more getting it off and the finger swelled even more. the finger still has color, it is not purple or black yet, but- even tho I slept with my hand in a bag of ice cubes and held it up high (piled on a mountain of pillows) it swelled more instead of reducing. It is now very obvious I am going to have to do something, the rings are now surrounded by and nearly buried under my swollen finger. and yes it hurts. will my rings be able to be repaired after I get them cut off? How expensive might it be? Do I go to a jeweler or a doctor? > > I know I have not been here in awhile. Been so busy my RA kinda slipped by....but I let it get out of control, stress. My uuncle died a couple weeks ago on my moms birthday. 2 days later she was dx'ed with lung metastasis to her brain and had surgery. The nite of her surgery, her other brother died. Then the day after her surgery the hurricanes hit and my sis in law, 2 nephews we raised from age 10- 17 and one of their wife and 2 small kids are still missing. And then our school decided our disabled daughter can no longer go to public school. I guess the stress finally built up and swelled joints that never swelled before. <sigh> And here I am again, back by you all.

Guest guest
I haven't been on the board for a few days, sorry I missed your post. I know your doing better now, and so glad for that. I have problems with my fingers swelling, so I always take my rings off at night, they swell really bad at night. I'm sorry for all the bad news you have been dealing with. I'm sorry about your Mom, and my prayers are with her. That is terrible that your uncle passed on her birthday. This is terrible that your family is missing from Katrina. I will pray of their return. Is there a school close where they can give your daughter the special people that she need? This is so awful. You pay all the taxes, and then the school closes their doors to kids in need, I'm sorry. I know with all this added stress isn't helping you at all. Just know I'm here if you need a shoulder, and know my prayers are always with you, Tawny --- In , " dreamer_plus " <dreamer_plus@w...> wrote: > Oh man, last nite my right forearm began to swell, and then my left hand fingers.
