Guest guest
Hi Sherry, I had one of those glorious mom nights last night and all day today! threw up at 10:45pm last night and went on to do it every 15-30 minutes until 10:30am this morning! Mmmmm do I feel like a million bucks or what?! Oh and I look it too! I have been doing laundry ALL DAY - I think I'm on my 7th load right now - all hot water too! Perfect! We were supposed to go to the Cardiologist today for our two week post op checkup - of course we didn't make that. Can you believe it's been two weeks since his heart surgery?! He's doing great aside from the momentary lapse in health. And last night I was convinced that he was going to evoke some damage to his device as the wretching was so awful! I know graphic but... this is our life. If we can't talk about the poop and throw up - what do we have? LOL! Can't wait for bed tonight! I told the big kids when they walked in the door from school, " We're ordering pizza tonight! " Needless to say, they were so excited. And I was over the top when they ran to the store and called me to tell me they found a two liter of Pepsi Throwback! Yes, there is crack in there and I'm lovin' it! Anyone try that stuff yet? It's for a limited time only and if you haven't don't because it reminds me of my younger days and sipping soda...before High Fructose Corn Syrup... It's the little things some days and if it takes a Pepsi to get me through today I'm not doing so bad right? It could be so much worse...I don't drink, smoke, do drugs.... What's a little phosphoric acid?! Mmmm, my dentist would cringe! Okay, sorry for the novel, been on my own too much today! And considering this thread.... I would love to see another update on all the similarities our kids have...I'll start us off *open vs. closed doors *pillows on vs. off the couch *rewinding!!!!!!!! *foods! Thankfully we've gotten over most of that since going GF but he still loves chips, fries, and chicken, and bread - just all GF! *has to be first to open the door to the house *has to open his own car door when it's time to get out but it's okay if you open it for him to get in!?! *Not a fan of backing up or making a wrong turn *loves to sing and dance, loves music. okay there's a good start - Jayne whose insane in Maine! > > Hi Jayne...hope all is well. > Here's another (fond?) memory for me as well. I used to try to get J's attention on something other than the Mc's we were passing as she did the same thing. Her sign for french fries was to hold one index finger under her nose..like a mustache. I don't know where she got that one but I doubt they'd understand it at McDs. > > We also had to take many long car trips to various appointments, jobs whatever. And she got so she would freak everytime we passed an Interstate exit sign, flinging herself over the back of the seat, stretching out with her arms and yelling. Same thing at every exit. Big fun. Now she loves to ride in the car...of course now she has videos and she giggles like crazy every once in awhile letting out some Godforsaken loud " WHOA " or " AGGGGHHHH " noise that scares the doodoo out of anyone else in the car. > Sherry
