Guest guest
dehydration due to excessive urination. diabetes and diabetes insipidus were ruled out! But the times between the dehydration has gone from 24 hours to 4-5 hours! he used to go without the proper liquid balance for 24 hours and it caused problems. NOW after 4-5 hours of missing his liquid balance he gets very ill! Any ideas! My 4 year old with DS/Autism also pees excessively but does not have any dehydration problems it seems? or could microcephaly. intellectual problems, dry skin and a hoast of other things our kids have actually mean they all PEE too much and are dehydrated? Sure would LOVE a study on this! NOT too may people measure urine output in DS kids! BUT I have 3 years of pee measurements!!! And it is always between 3.5 liters to 6.8 liters. The input of drinks are between 1.5 liters- 2.5 liters. So HOW can someone pee so much!!!!! And could our kids actually have this problem of excessive peeing and NO one really know it ???
