I'm not sure, what does low hemoglobin usually mean is going on? Is that anemia?

's was slightly high last year but then went back to normal.

I hope she gets back to her old self soon.

I just feel like whining

We've been doing great with 's home program....moving along with our new

behavior assistant. But 's been getting slower and weaker and wanting me to

feed her all the time. Also missing alot of academic stuff I know that she

knows. I called to Dr.s office to see if they had received copies of her latest

bloodwork from Feb 23 and they said no...never saw it. Dh goes back to the

hospital to pick it up himself and we learn J's hemoglobin is 8.3. Normal is

11.5-15. It's only been this low once before a year or so ago when she had to be

put on prednisone. We faxed the results to her doc yesterday AM and have yet to

hear back from someone with a plan. Her levels were 9.9 3 months ago. sigh.

OK thanks for letting me whine again.

Hey Terry....I'm Sherry....she's ....tho I often get confused myself lol.

Yes it's severe anemia from malabsorbtion. She's been diagnosed with Crohn's

disease for 3 years but now the 2 GI docs are squabbling over the dx. This is

why we are diet coocoos with her.

master the self-feeding skills as a youngster to where his underlying

medical issues have affected his neurological issues & thensome.

That Mitochondrial disorder & viral found are such culprits along with

multiple food allergies, intolerance or sensitivities which have been found

in his case.

The difference here though you have a female so can imagine the hormone &

Testosterone levels.

I have a met physician who all into the spiritual aspect as well which I am

learning as well. These doc's who I have been meeting or PhD's just share so

Sherry, Like I said to you off list. You cannot get Dr.'s to barely call you

back when you need them. Has 's hemoglobin ever been that low before? If

so what cause it that time? got weaker and forgot things he already knew

about he got bit by the student at school in 2007. His white blood count dropped

low also. It is scarey and especially when it is your child and you cannot get a

response. Cyndi B

I had 's testerone levels checked by his Dr. here and he wanted to know why

and what difference it would make. I just looked at him and took a big breath. I

wanted to say Are you kidding me? You really do not know that this can cause

behaviors to be out of wack?? Oh my gosh. Cyndi B
