Kerri Sue,

Maybe the Arava will be the med that works for you! That would be

wonderful. I've never been on either Tricor or Avandia but I can

tell you that I've been on RA meds

for 30 years and I'm still here. I know it gets depressing to be

taking all of those meds, but hopefully they will help you live a

long and painfree life.

I was a little younger than you when my journey with the medicine

cabinet started. It does get tiring to constantly be on different

medications.

I hope you have a good day.

Dear Kerri Sue,

My daughter takes Avandia; she had been on Glucophage but switched, and

she is very happy with the results. She has PCOS and is insulin

resistant. She is a very active mother of 2-year old triplets and a 5-

year old, works full time and is a part-time college student. I hope

you can take it without any problems.

I'm happy to hear the Arava is helping you. I have Dercum's disease,

and just started Lyrica (which is newly approved for fibromyalgia) and

enjoying some good sleep and less pain. I even walked a mile today!

Smiles,

Judi

Kerri Sue,

I tried Arava, but it did bad things to my liver before a month was up, so I

have almost a whole bottle I can't use. I'm going to donate it to my

Rheumy's office for helping others that can't afford it.

My wife takes Avandia, and it looks like it's doing well for her. No side

effects or anything, and her Dr drew blood today, so official results will

come. You'll grow old with in spite of yourself. Cheer up, it can't

hurt. :)

Dennis, cheering up 'cause it don't hurt as much....
