Guest guest
We did not do/are not doing any formal attachment therapy with our boys (nor will we with the soon to be newest addition with Ds), but we do have specific things that we do to facilitate attachment with our children when they are first adopted. Our boys were 4 and 4.5 when they came home and our newest addition is 7 (and Lord willing will be home in the spring). We just do our own thing based on what I know from reading/research and just what I have seen be effective in our own family. > > Since we have been talking about PTSD lately and the uniqueness of our kids > - I was wondering if any of the adoptive parents to attachment therapy of > any kind. > We kind of did our own thing with Tony - after I researched several > theories.
