Guest guest
Gluten free kids can have apple cider vinegar. Gosh, you would think you are safe with Newman's olive oil and vinegar. Does it say what kind of vinegar? And it may just be kids who cannot have yeast. My son is allergic to yeast so I think that is why he is not supposed to have vinegar. I think her ( McCarthy) kid was yeast free as well. The yeast intolerance often gets mixed up with the gluten free intolerance depending on who you are talking to. I bet someone else will have a more clear answer than this, I just didn't want you to panic while you waited for a response. Guest guest
Not all vinegar has gluten. I believe it is only certain types. Read your labels always. I even read the labels of the things I buy regularly. Mfr are known to change the ingrediate listings. Sometimes it is just for marketing but every once in awhile, I catch something that I would have totally not noticed before. There are things such as potato starch that are gluten free. One of my favorite books is " Gluten Free for Dummies. " I learned so much! Wonder what that says? ha!
